Local Honey is a musical duo consisting of husband and wife, Jake and Taylor Johnson. Taylor has received classical vocal training and draws influence from her classical roots, musical theatre, and pop/punk alternative music. Jake, on the other hand, is self-taught in playing the piano, guitar, and singing. He was raised on gospel and country music and has a deep love for the blues. When performing together, they create an easy-listening, country-style singer/songwriter sound that is both pure and sweet.
